ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS
People help people make it through life. There are times, however, when extra help is needed. For people in good times and bad, we need to be most grateful. I thank God for the wonderful people He chose to put in my life - past, present, and future. They are too numerous to mention. I do want to give special thanks to some who helped me the past few difficult years in which I was virtually housebound (being still enough for this book to come, thus your help in bringing it to print):
My husband Randy who has loved me when I needed it most and who stayed beside me in my years of near confinement; my friends Kathy Cox and Lucy Slater who kept calling when I didn’t want to talk with anyone, thus helping me “hold on for dear life”; our friends and neighbors Rodney and Karen Keys who invited us to their house for events and requested that all guests come fragrance - free for my safety; Dr. Cathy Clary who provided not only excellent health care but also a caring ear and heart; Dr. Aubrey Worrell (deceased), Ted Stansbery, and Rick McLarty who walked me through natural healing; and my daughters and their husbands (Tricia and Chris DeWitt,Tara and Andrew Fleming) who made their homes chemical and fragrance free so I could visit them and be with my precious grandchildren Cole, Cade, and Katie.
My spiritual help came from the Holy Spirit, assisted, for the most part, by Dave and Joyce Meyer Ministries, Charles Stanley’s In Touch Ministries, Radio Bible Class, and Bobby & Lynn Crow’s World Missions Outreach. I could not attend church because of the overwhelming fragrances there, so the teachings of and prayers of these ministries were an anchor for me. Thank you for loving the Lord and for being used by the Holy Spirit to minister to shut-ins like I was.
